Above is an excerpt from the radio play "NGHBRS at Madison Square Garden, 2016(2017) performed at The Hand during the closing of our exhibition in 2017. Gallerists Maren Miller and Saki Sato plus Laurie Broome Shields (Taylor's Mom) read from an interview I did with Taylor at a Rangers / Devils preseason game at Madison Square Gardens in 2016. The interview probes the fundamental questions and characters in the story of NGHBRS (a sci-fi sitcom set on an AI governed space station in the future).  The NGHBRS story exists as a constellation of models, prints, video and audio - it's never finished, always being written. Fundamentally NGHBRS is free form folklore from the mind of Taylor Shields which has built a small community that serves as an audience - in this project I am documentarian and producer, pushing the story forward by asking questions and producing content.
